Julia New Sinhala Film

Having successfully completed on-location shoot in London the production team of Julia has just returned to the country. 'It was a very rewarding experience for all of us. I'm more than satisfied with the outcome" young director Sampath Sri Roshan said on his return to the island. 'Everything went according to plan and it augurs well for the film' added Charith Abeysinghe the producer of the film who also could be the youngest film producer in Sri Lanka.

The duo will go down in the annals of history of the Sri Lankan film industry as the first to introduce to the country the latest technological innovation - High Definition Cinema.

Julia also had a blend of experience with the experimental group technical crew which included both Sri Lankan and English. Veteran Donald Karunaratne played the role of cinematographer while Ranjit Mathangaweera handled the make-up artiste's department. They were joined by British National Jenney Muun as the editor.

Among the others leading stunt performer Teddy Vidyalankara handled stunts while Sujeewa Gunaratne contributed as the Art Director, hair styles is Sarath Ranaweera and music score is handled by Ranga Dassanaike, the talented son of veteran music director late Sarath Dassanaike. Assistant Director Ranjit Prasanna, Production Manager Jagath Nissan and line producer Namal Attygalle and still photographer is lndika Mallawarachchi.

The lyrics of the film are by Dr. Ajantha Ranasinghe, Kelum Sri Mal, Ananda Padmasiri and Namal Attygalle. Melodies of the songs are by Ranga Dassanaike, Bhathiya Jayakody, Kasun Kalhara, Gratien Ananda and Nuwan Thenuwara.

Kasun Kalhara, Uresha Ravihari, Gratian Ananda, Bachchi Susan, Charith Abeysinghe, Ashahthi Sandria lend their voices to the film.
