"I was born in Negombo to Alan Christy Fernando and Renuka Damayanthi Fernando. I'm an only child in my family. I spend my childhood in seeduwa and attened 'Ave Maria Connvent Negombo. My family moved to Italy when I was really young so I schooled there. I attened
'Carducci'(Gavirate) Secondary School then I entered Nervi high school for two years and then
moved to'Magenta' to finish my HSC studies. I did well in school and planned to become an architect and went on pursuing studies in architecture. I can communicate in several languages including my mother tongue Sinhala, Italian, English and Spanish. While pursing my studies in architecture I began modling on the side. I won the second pace at Miss Lotus contest in 2008, then I went on to win Miss Casino title the same year.
"I have always wanted to return to Sri Lanka because I always sensed a feeling of missing my roots. I'm proud to be Sri Lankan. My dream is to become a Top model and represent my country."
