The multi-talented young individual had already made her mark in the fashion, teledrama and movie scene by portraying diverse roles in a number of productions. As one of Sri Lanka's leading Fashion Icon, Vasana always ready with a charming smile and a mischievous twinkle in the eye.

Vasana has won several pageant titles, Capri Queen 2001(1st runner up), Ms. Sri Lanka(runner up) and Ms. Beautiful( winning title). She is also a represented Sri Lanka for Ms. Asia Pacific in year 2002 , Ms. World in year 2002 and Ms. Sri Lanka Model of the Universe(1st runner-up).

She has contributed a lot as an actress in tele-dramas like Ingammaruwa, Fantasy Avenue, Dhamini, Digu sewanalie (yet to telecast) and she came to the cinema through Re Daniyel Dawal Migel and One Shot One.
